Charity Increases Wealth and Blessings

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Charity does not decrease wealth.” (Muslim)

Instead of reducing what you own, giving for the sake of Allah puts barakah (blessing) in your wealth, protects it from harm, and often returns to you in greater ways.

Charity Protects from Calamities and Erases Sins

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Tirmidhi)

Charity is also a means of forgiveness of sins. Allah says:
“If you disclose your charitable expenditures, they are good; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, it is better for you, and He will remove from you some of your misdeeds.” (Qur’an 2:271)

Slide 3

Charity Becomes Shade and Protection on the Day of Judgment

On the Day when everyone will be desperate for protection, the Prophet ﷺ said:
“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Tirmidhi)
